Our adult education program has everything you need to get started including supportive teachers, interactive instructional materials & classes and computer labs.

Garrett College is pleased to offer basic literary instruction, skills development, and high school diploma GED® test preparation classes.

How do I start?
-Call 301-387-3770 to schedule an Information, Advising and Assessment session.
     -Sessions are held each month and take about 4 hours to complete
     -The intake counselor will assist students with the class registration process at the end of this session

When are classes held?
-Day, evening and Saturday classes are available

-Southern Outreach Center (SOC): 14 N 8th Street, Oakland, MD 21550
-Career Technology Training Center (CTTC): 116 Industrial Drive, Accident, MD 21520

What is the cost to attend classes?
-Garrett College provides Adult Basic Education classes FREE OF CHARGE*.
*Funding provided by the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (DLLR) and Garrett College.
