Due to recent inclement weather, the Garrett College Foundation, Inc. will be extending the deadline for applications and supporting materials (i.e. transcripts, recommendation letters, information from guidance office, etc.) for the 2010-2011 Garrett College Foundation Scholarship to Monday, March 15, 2010. The Garrett College Foundation awards competitive merit and need scholarships to individuals to pursue higher education at Garrett College in McHenry, Maryland. There are merit and need scholarships, scholarships for full-time and part-time students, scholarships for certain majors, scholarships based on legal residency, etc.

You are invited to apply for scholarships administered by the Garrett College Foundation.

The Garrett College Foundation scholarship application for the 2010-2011 academic year is expected to be available in January from the Garrett College Financial Aid Office and high school guidance offices in the Tri-State Area. There is no fee to apply for Garrett College Foundation scholarships.

The Garrett College Foundation scholarship application deadline is March 1, 2010, for the 2010-2011 academic year. All material must be received by this deadline to be considered for Garrett College Foundation scholarships.

Garrett College's Financial Aid Office can answer questions about Garrett College Foundation scholarships and assist you with all types of collegiate financial aid.  The Garrett College Financial Aid Office is in the Garrett College Student Center, 687 Mosser Road, McHenry, Maryland.

Garrett College has an open-door admissions policy. All individuals are admitted to Garrett College.  You do not have to have applied for admission to and been accepted by Garrett College by the Garrett College Foundation scholarship application deadline.

Current high school juniors from Garrett County, Maryland, who are considering enrolling at Garrett College in the Early College Admissions Program (ECAP) for the 2010-2011 academic year are also encouraged to apply for Garrett College Foundation scholarships.
