Associate in Arts Degree (A.A.) / Transfer Programs

Arts & Sciences
The Arts and Sciences cover a broad range of subjects and disciplines.  Students enrolled in the Arts and Sciences programs select a major program to graduate with a A.A. Degree or option in preparation for transfer to a four-year college or university.  The focus of this academic major may be as diversified as fine and performing arts, social and behavioral sciences, liberal arts, or mathematics/sciences.  Academic advisors will assist students in appropriate course selection and guide them in reviewing transfer requirements to 4-year institutions.

Business Administration
The  business area can accommodate a wide variety of interests--accounting, management, marketing, sales, advertising, economics, public relations, banking and investing, to name a few.  There are many  employment opportunities for business majors, including small businesses, corporations, banks, or entrepreneurial enterprises.

General Studies
General Studies is a popular transfer program since many students do not have a clear choice of major at the time of their admission to college.  This program allows students to complete general education requirements and explore various disciplines which may assist the student in determining a program major in preparation for transfer to a four-year college/university.

Teacher Education
The Teacher Education program prepares students who aspire to teach at the preschool, elementary, or secondary level for transfer into a four-year teacher education curriculum. Students have the opportunity to participate in classroom activities in the public schools as part of their pre-professional course work.
