The Business And Information Technology Department
Garrett's BAIT program currently has a well-defined program of study aimed at those students interested in transferring to a four-year institution to continue their business education. The coursework available at Garrett can accommodate a wide variety of business interests—accounting, management, marketing, finance, and economics just to name a few.

Presently, Garrett has an articulation agreement with Frostburg State University and Franklin University. The Frostburg articulation allows students to take their first two-years of study at Garrett and transition smoothly to Frostburg to complete their bachelor’s degree in four years. The agreement with Franklin University allows students to take their first three years of study at Garrett and complete their fourth year via distance learning resulting in students never having to leave Garrett County to obtain their bachelor’s degree in business.
