The Garrett golf program has produced quality individual players since its addition to the Garrett athletic program in 1994. Most notable is Matt Hill, Southern HS, Oakland , MD a 1994/95 season All American selection. Matt is currently a PGA professional at Whiskey Creek Golf Club in Ijamsville, MD . Garrett again went to the national tournament with all-region performer Scott Finch in 1999. Damion Cosby, Northern Calvert HS, Lusby, MD and Joe Schmidle, Preston HS, Kingwood, WV are also teaching professionals that began their collegiate career at Garrett.

Garrett is a Division lll coed golf program, and is a member of the MD JUCO conference, which comprises 18 MD schools, and NJCAA Region XX, which includes Division ll and Division lll schools in MD, WV and PA.

Garrett has use of the Wisp Resort Golf Course in McHenry as well as the Oakland Golf Club in nearby Oakland, MD. The Wisp serves as the home site for inter collegiate matches as well as the practice facility for the team. Wisp is a 4 star course and rated as one of the top courses in the East.
