The Garrett College Women’s Fastpitch Softball Team had its share of battles with the weather this season resulting in several cancellations due to rain. The program will play a limited schedule this year due to a late start. The decision to restart the program came about as a result of interest expressed by the female student body. This was not the first year for fastpitch softball at Garrett. The inaugural team competed in 1999.
The team has many experienced players with great ability that will be an asset to the program. Despite a lack of true playing experience, every player on the team has a positive attitude and is looking forward to a productive season. |
