About the Staff
Coach Terry Chapman, Head Softball Coach

Terry Chapman will begin his softball coaching career for the 2009 season of the Garrett Lady Lakers. |
Since graduation from Southern Garrett High School in 1982, Coach Chapman has had an active softball career. In addition to playing softball for 23 years, on several championship teams, he also has umpired baseball and softball at a sanctioned level for area high school teams, college and Pen-Mar baseball. He has coached baseball, softball, and football for the Oakland Little League Girl's Softball, Oakland Youth Football League, Southern Garrett High School Junior Varsity Baseball and the Oakland Church Softball League . In addition to umpiring baseball and softball, he is a member of the Potomac Valley Football Officials.
Coach Chapman has attended two coaching clinics at the Pittsburgh Steelers Complex in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, sponsored by the Pittsburgh Steelers and USA Football.
Coach chapman is the owner of Deep Creek Saw Shop and resides near Deep Creek Lake with his wife, Annette, and three children, Sean, Ashton, and Jackie. Coach Chapman is a member of the Gortner Union Church.
