Career & Transfer Services | Choosing a Career & Finding a Job

Garrett College is please to offer its students and alumni DISCOVER, a proven tool to be used in making career decisions, researching occupations, selecting a major, choosing 4-year institutions for transferring, and developing solid job search strategies.  DISCOVER can be used at a self-directed pace, but with the support of the Office of Career & Transfer Services, students and alumni can discover even more about themselves and the world of work.

Interested in using DISCOVER?
To get started, contact the Career and Transfer Office to get your free Token (Please Note you must be a current student at or a graduate of Garrett College or have applied for admissions to Garrett College in order to use this system).

Once you have your token, go to the Discover login page (www.act.org/discover/login).

If you are already registered in DISCOVER but have lost your Token number and/or can’t remember your password, still go to the DISCOVER login page.  There, click on the purple box that says “Forgot My Password or User ID”.  You can then use your first name, middle name, last name, and zip code to enter the system.

Please Note:  Only one Token per student/alumni will be issued.
