Educational

Adult Basic Education: Intake/Assessment
Participation in Garrett’s Adult Basic Education program requires that you first go through the Intake/ Assessment process. The Intake/Assessment has been scheduled throughout the county as indicated below. If you were unable to complete high school; if you know an adult who struggles with reading, this program can help. You may walk-in, meet the staff, bring your questions and find out just how this program can help you.

There is No Cost for the Assessment or Information.

Adult Basic Education
Adults who would like to increase their present level of education should call or walk in to any of the classes listed below. These classes are designed to meet individual goals such as:

  • Improve basic reading and math skills and advance to GED education levels.
  • Prepare to take the MD High School (GED) Diploma exam
  • Prepare for College entrance

These classes are free of charge to persons 16 or older and will be on-going through May.
