Student Government Association
The SGA serves as a liaison between students and college administration, allowing open communication to ensure students' needs are being met. SGA also works to provide activities for the students including musical performances, charity collections, and the end of the year celebration called Spring Fling. SGA is the perfect place to voice your thoughts and make a difference for all Garrett students.

Adventure Sports Club
The AVS club consists of students with a thirst for adventure and the outdoors. It organizes and oversees the fall Ultimate Frisbee League. Members participate in everything from whitewater rafting to rock climbing and take a yearly trip to some exciting place. The 2002 trip is planned for the Everglades in Florida.

Math Club
The Math Club consists of students with a zest for mathematics. All math students are welcome to join the club and travel to international conferences in places such as Germany, Copenhagen, and Switzerland. This is a great place to exercise your math talents.

Wildlife Club
The Wildlife Club consists of nature lovers who join in such activities as banding owls for ongoing data collection for owl population.

Women's Athletic Club
The Women's Athletic Club consists of female athletes participating in Lady Laker Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball. Non-athlete members help out as volunteers to sell tickets and work concession during the home competitions. Meetings are held in conjunction with the regular scheduled practices.

World View International Club
The World View International Club (WVIC) brings together international and American students at Garrett College who understand that we are all part of a larger, global community. With this world view, students exchange information about their culture with each other, plan activities to learn more about other cultures, and offer services and activities to the on-campus and local, Garrett County communities. The emphasis of the WVIC is always on learning and having fun. Meeting are held weekly during the fall and spring semesters.
