CEWD Programs

Did you know that continuing your education after high school and completing a training program with an industry recognized certificate or credential significantly increases your employ-ability and long term earning?  Have you been thinking about continuing your education but don’t know where to start?  The staff at Garrett College’s Continuing Education and Workforce Development department would like to help you explore all your options.

Courses and training programs offered by the Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) department have been expanded to provide increased opportunity for our students.  Local employers have been contacted to identify skills needed to be hired in several growth industries.

The courses and training programs are designed for students of all ages and experience levels.  Most programs can be completed by attending part time in the evening because we know many students are balancing job, family, and personal responsibilities while attending classes.  The instructors are professionals in the field.  Our small classes provide the opportunity for the instructors to meet the individual needs of students as they prepare for a new career or improve their skills in their current occupation.  Please contact the coordinator listed in the catalog for additional information or to start the registration process.
