K-9 Stress Relief

When the Garrett College community could benefit from some activities to relieve the winter blues and reduce the anxieties of pre-exam studies, Sarah L. Schenk, Assistant Coordinator of Residence Life, Student Activities, and Student Government Association Advisor, presents a schedule of activities to lighten the mood and restore good humor. Among the recent events were several days of K-9 Stress Relief and festive celebration. Community members answered the call and brought their gentle dogs to campus the share their therapeutic energies with students. In the photo above, Odette Lueck’s dog Jenny affectionately greets a student while Judi Schiff, coordinator of the GC K-9 Stress Relief program and pup provider, seated, shares the happiness.
