Foundation Awards Scholarships, Accepts New Applications (Part 2)

       


The Garrett College Foundation, which provides funding for more than 100 scholarships each year, has recently awarded scholarships and is currently accepting scholarship applications for 2014-2015.


Rachel Geer of Kitzmiller earned a Garrett College Foundation Scholarship to pursue her degree in Natural Resources and Wildlife Technology.

Stevee Royce, an Oakland resident, was awarded the Colonel J. Haig & Mrs. Ruth Ridder Jackson Scholarship. She is pursuing an associate degree and is majoring in Business Management.

Sandra Browning of Kitzmiller, was presented the Clint Englander Memorial Scholarship. She is pursuing an associate degree majoring in Arts and Sciences: Social and Behavioral Science in Social Work with plans to transfer to Frostburg State University.

Mariah Tasker of Oakland was awarded the Leah Welling Huber Memorial Scholarship. She is studying nursing and plans to transfer to Allegany College of Maryland to earn her degree.

Pamela Snyder, who resides in Accident, was awarded the Cortney & Marie Tasker Scholarship. She plans to transfer to Allegany College of Maryland after completing her studies in nursing at Garrett College.

Jackie Frazee, a resident of Friendsville, was presented the Clint Englander Memorial Scholarship. She is majoring in Natural Resources and Wildlife Technology.
