Third Annual Power of Possibilities Spring Entrepreneurial Summit Scheduled for April 28

The Power of Possibilities Spring Entrepreneurial Summit will be held at Garrett College on Friday, April 28, 2017. The theme for this year’s Spring Summit is “Creating and Growing Local Opportunities” and the program is focused on helping those in attendance optimize their personal and business opportunities for success as well as those for our community.  The event is part of the Power of Possibilities initiative that launched in 2014 and that has engaged over 1,200 entrepreneurs, want-to-be entrepreneurs, business owners/managers and those in the region that support and enable small business formation and growth.

The Spring Summit will include workshops on a number of topics, including: effective web-site development and management, launching technology products, using low-cost marketing strategies to grow an enterprise. In addition to the workshops, attendees will hear keynote speakers share their experience and expertise on building businesses and building vibrant communities.

While a learning, sharing and networking event for all those in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Garrett County and the region, the event is also a celebration of entrepreneurship and new entrepreneurs, and is anchored by the third annual Power of Possibilities Business Competition awards luncheon. Open to all attendees, the awards luncheon is the culmination of the third annual regional business plan competition where top business plan entries are announced and awarded cash, the Daniel E. Offutt III Innovation Medal and other valuable prizes.
