Garrett College Foundation Notes 2017 Scholarship Awards

The Garrett College Foundation annually presents scholarships to Garrett College students. Following are the names of scholarship recipients for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Teri Macomber, a 2017 graduate of Northern High School who resides in Accident, has been awarded the Josh Fike Scholarship. She is pursuing her associate in arts degree in teacher education with a concentration in secondary education.

Matthew Thomas, a resident of Oakland and a 2017 graduate of Southern High School, has received the Hazel Fratz Wright Scholarship. He is pursuing his associate of science in engineering degree and will study electrical engineering.

Angela Lowry, a current student who resides in Oakland, has been awarded the Amy Mildred Sharpless Scholarship. She is pursuing her associate in arts degree in arts and sciences, with a concentration in psychology.

Kyle Klotz, a resident of Oakland and a current student, has received the Mountain Laurel Garden Club Scholarship.   He is pursuing his associate of applied science degree in natural resources and wildlife technology.
