Garrett College Foundation Notes Scholarship 2017 Awards (part 3)

The Garrett College Foundation annually presents scholarships to Garrett College students. Following are the names of scholarship recipients for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Abby Sisler, a 2017 graduate of Northern High School who lives in Friendsville, has been awarded the Junior Women’s Civic Club Scholarship to pursue her studies in nursing.

Lauryn Moon, a 2017 graduate of Southern High School and resident of Oakland, has received both the Joan Dixon Memorial Scholarship and the Leah Welling Huber Memorial Scholarship.  She is pursuing her associate in arts degree in arts and sciences:  mathematics/sciences.

Kaitlyn Alexander, a 2017 graduate of Southern High School who resides in Oakland, has been awarded the Amy Mildred Sharpless Scholarship.  She is pursuing her associate in applied science degree in business and information technology: business management and entrepreneurship.

Delaney Friend, a resident of Accident and current student, has received the Cortney & Marie Tasker Scholarship to pursue her studies in nursing.

Michaela McCrobie, a current student who lives in Oakland, has been awarded both the Oakland/Mt. Lake Park Lions Club: Ravenscroft Memorial Scholarship and the Shentel Foundation Scholarship.  She is pursuing her associate in arts degree in general studies.
