Garrett College Foundation Awards Student Scholarships (Part 8)

The Garrett College Foundation board of directors recently announced the winners of scholarships for the academic year 2012-2013. Awards went to current students as well as new students at GC. Among those earning scholarships are the following:

Aaron D. Callis was awarded the Wilma A. Calhoun Scholarship. An Oakland resident, Aaron graduated from Southern High School in 2010 and is currently a student at Garrett College. He is pursuing his degree in Natural Resources & Wildlife Technology.

Chelsea S. Diehl was selected to receive the Amy Mildred Sharpless Scholarship. A resident of Grantsville, Chelsea is a 2011 graduate of Northern High School. Her goal is to earn her degree in General Studies.

Jena Kae Hardesty, who graduated from Southern High School in 2012, has received the Hazel Fratz Wright Scholarship. A resident of Oakland, Jena plans to earn her degree in General Studies.

Ashley M. Snyder, a Friendsville resident and 2007 graduate of Northern High School, has earned the Audrey Naylor Scholarship. Ashley is pursuing her degree at GC in Pre Allied Health and plans to eventually earn her bachelor degree in nursing.
