Menker to Speak About Israel/Palestine Conflict

Mel Menker, adjunct professor at Garrett College, will be the next presenter in the Joan Crawford Lecture Series, slated for Monday, Dec. 3, noon to 1 p.m. in Room 645 on the McHenry campus of Garrett College. The title of Menker’s lecture is “Israel/Palestine Conflict: Real or Imagined?”

Menker, who has traveled frequently to the Middle East studying the culture, people, and religions of the area, has friends and business associates in both Palestine and Israel. His presentation will include personal insights and historical facts.
