Joan Crawford Lecture Series of Feature Anthony M. "AMO" Oliverio

Reptiles will be featured in the Joan Crawford Lecture Series on Monday, April 8, noon – 1 p.m., in Room 646 at Garrett College. This free event, which is open to the public, will be presented by Anthony Oliverio, better known throughout the college community as AMO.

After obtaining his Associates degree at Garrett College in Natural Resources and Wildlife Technology (NRWT), Oliverio transferred to Frostburg State University to earn a bachelor degree in Frostburg’s Wildlife Biology program.

Oliverio, who previously worked as a naturalist for the Deep Creek lake State Park Discovery Center and is currently a biology lab instruction at Garrett College, has traveled several times to Costa Rica with the NRWT field study program team.

The lecture will include slides distinctive reptiles as well as a few live species, which Oliverio said he considers his friends.
