GC Foundation Awards Scholarships (Part 2)




The Garrett College Foundation annually presents scholarships to Garrett College students. In the weeks to come the names of those receiving these awards will be published. Following are the names of several scholarship recipients.

Kenya Rinker, an Oakland resident, currently is enrolled at Garrett College seeking a degree in elementary education with a specialty in special education. She has been awarded the Ann Dilgard Scholarship.

Allison Yommer of Grantsville was awarded the American Association of University Women Scholarship. Currently a student at Garrett College, Allison was dually enrolled in high school when she began her studies toward her college degree.

Kelsey Skipper, a resident of Swanton, has earned the Civic Club of Oakland: Patience W. Grant Memorial Scholarship. He is a 2013graduate of Southern High School who will be pursuing his degree at Garrett College in Wildlife Management.

Dominic Ruggiero of Accident, who is currently a student at Garrett College, has been awarded the Daniel Edward Offutt, III Achievement Award Scholarship. He is pursing his degree in Network Administration.
