Former GIEC Tenant Receives ICOY Award



Garrett County owners and operators of GCC Technologies LLC James and Shirley Bailey recently received the Incubator Company of the Year (ICOY) award in the graduate category. Founded in 1997, the GCC Technologies moved into the Garrett Information Enterprise Center (GIEC) located at Garrett College in 2006 and relocated to its own facility in the Southern Industrial Park in Oakland in 2012. Mike Tumbarello, coordinator of GIEC/Garrett Center for Entrepreneurship, nominated GCC Technologies for this award.
