GC Foundation Awards Scholarships (Part 6)


The Garrett College Foundation annually presents scholarships to Garrett College students. In the weeks to come the names of those receiving these awards will be published. Following are the names of several scholarship recipients.





Charday Green of Washington, D.C., has been awarded the Amy Mildred Sharpless Scholarship. A 2011 graduate of Anacostia High School, she is currently a student at Garrett College pursuing a degree in Juvenile Justice.

     





Patrick Sines, a resident of Friendsville and a 2012 graduate of Northern High School, has been presented the Ruth I. Filsinger Memorial Scholarship. A current student at Garrett College, he is majoring in Accounting and Business.






Jenna Hughes who lives in Aurora, W.Va., has earned the Amy Mildred Sharpless scholarship. Hughes is a student at Garrett College pursuing a degree in Natural Resources and Wildlife Technology.






Justin Weeksof Oakland received a Garrett College Foundation Grant. Weeks, who is currently a student at Garrett College in pursuing his associate’s degree in General Studies.
