Adults Invited to Information Event at GC

Adults interested in learning about the accessibility of a wide range of educational opportunities are invited to visit Garrett College (GC) and talk with faculty and staff during two special events. Adult Information nights will be held on the McHenry campus on Wednesday, July 24, and Thursday, Aug. 15, 4 – 6 p.m. in the Laker Café

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with admissions representatives to find out about programs of study and the enrollment process for credit courses. Program directors from GC Continuing Education and Workforce Development Division will provide details on certification opportunities and workforce training.

Information will also be available on the Garrett Center for Entrepreneurship and continuing education classes on starting and managing small businesses. 

Staff from the GC Advising and Academic Success Center will be on hand to explain the academic support services, careers, and transfer options for students. Campus  tours will also be provided.
