Great Garrett Adventure Camps

Imagination Station wasthe title of a recent Great Garrett Adventure Camp for kids in grades 1 through 6 at Garrett College. During the week-long session, kids learned about the books of Dr. Seuss, Eric Carle, Mother Goose, and Shel Silverstein and created a stage production based on their stories. Campers used their imaginations to write, direct, and design a set and costumes for the play which they presented to local families at the Ruth Enlow Library in Oakland. Then the campers split into groups and read the stories to young children at the library. In the photo is camper Justin Fields reading The Sneetches and Other Stories.
