GC Foundation Awards Scholarships (Part 10)

   

The Garrett College Foundation annually presents scholarships to Garrett College students. In the weeks to come the names of those receiving these awards will be published. Following are the names of several scholarship recipients.


Drazen Frankovitch, a resident of Weirton, W.Va., was awarded the Amy Mildred Sharpless Scholarship. He will begin his studies at Garrett College in the Fall to pursue a degree in business administration

Lydia Powell of Frostburg, a 2013 graduate of Northern High School, has earned the Colonel J. Haig and Mrs. Ruth Ridder Jackson Scholarship. She plans to earn an associate’s degree in business administration at Garrett College and then transfer to Frostburg State University

Sierra Griffith, who resides in Oakland, was presented with the Hazel Fratz Wright Scholarship. Currently a student at Garrett College, Griffith is earning her associate’s degree in general studies.
