During the regular
semester, Garrett College computer "Open lab" is open approximately
64 hours per week.*

*Computer labs will be closed during scheduled
holidays and occasionally due to inclement weather.
Lab Location
At
the main campus in McHenry, Maryland you will find computers
accessible to students in computer enhanced classrooms as
well as the Open lab. Computer enhanced classrooms extend
to the Learning Assistance Center and the Northern Outreach
Center.
Garrett
College has four computer classrooms and the locations
are TC301, TC306, TC309 and LC642. In addition to the
computer classrooms, the Library at LC620 and the Open
Lab at TC304 have computer workstations available for
use.
The
Open Lab is located in the Technology Center on the main
McHenry campus (see
Map)
Software
In
general, Garrett College
computer labs are equipped with software relative to
the courses being offered each semester. The typical lab

Assistants
Student
computer lab assistants are available to help users with
computer problems and basic questions about network software.
Lab assistants do not assist with assignment completion.
The
lab assistant is located in TC 306. If he/she is not on
duty at the time you need help, contact the lab technician
in TC 303 or TC 312. An alternative means of contact is
