Garrett
College provides parking for the main campus with
two parking lots next to the main campus area. The Continuing
Education/GEIC parking lot can be accessed from Bumblebee or Mosser
Road (via Alan R. Paul Sr. Drive).
The main parking lot that accommodates the majority of campus
buildings can only be accessed from Bumblebee road. The residence
halls offer parking space for those living in the halls. Guest
parking is on a first-come basis.
The CAOS (Outdoor Education Center), residence halls and baseball
practice facilities have parking lots adjacent to each facility.
Visitors are not required to have a visitor pass to park in campus
lots.
Visitors with physical
disabilities have access to the designated spaces in the College's
parking lots. Reserved parking spaces are identified using the
familiar "handicap parking only" international
symbol. For students with documentation from a physician, special
temporary parking permits are available. Students with permanent
disabilities should apply to the MVA in the State of Maryland for
a permanent sticker.
Parking in the campus public parking lots is strongly discouraged
when the college is closed due to weather. On campus parking privledges
can be resricted or revoked if in violation of college rules of
conduct or state laws. |
