Students may begin to
move into the residence halls for the
Spring semester at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 20, 2008. |
You have a choice!
Garrett College offers our students a
choice in residence housing.
Both halls are close to campus with
a lit walkway to the main campus - just
a two-minute walk.
You
must submit a Housing Application prior to, or with
your Housing Contract for Garrett Hall or Lease Agreement
for Laker Hall. Your deposit must be submitted with your
Housing Contract or Lease Agreement. You may also pay your
deposit with a credit card by calling 301-387-3063.

Residence Hall Addresses
Laker Hall 
Be the first to occupy Garrett’s new residence hall.
Laker Hall, complete with game room and lounge, is a new
124 bed complex allowing students to live in garden-style
apartment units. Meal plans are available for an additional
fee.

Two Bedroom
Two bedroom, two bath units house four students (two per bedroom) and are equipped
with a fully furnished kitchen and living room. Requires a housing application,
security deposit of $300 and a signed lease agreement. Rent per student
is $4992 for two semesters.

Four bedroom, two bath units house four students (one per bedroom) and are
equipped with a fully furnished kitchen and living room. Requires a housing
application, security deposit of $300 and a signed lease agreement. Rent
per student is $5928.00 for two semesters.

Garrett
Hall

Garrett Hall offers traditional dorm-style rooms with 2 students per
room. Each furnished room is equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge.
The main floor of Garrett Hall provides a recreation lounge for meetings
and socializing, as well as laundry facilities and vending area.
Housing in Garrett Hall requires a housing application,
security deposit of $300 and a signed occupancy agreement.
The occupancy agreement is for two semesters and costs $4300
(includes meal plan). A meal plan is required when staying
in Garrett Hall.
Garrett College offers a variety of living arrangements to suit
any student’s lifestyle and budget. We hope this information
helps you make an informed decision on which residence hall is
right for you.
