Moving into your new dorm room or apartment can be quite
an adjustment, especially if it is your first time living
away from home. Bringing some personal things from
home may help to make the new space your own. If you
know your roommate before you move in, coordinate with him
or her so you don’t duplicate items.
Living in one Garrett's residence halls is a great opportunity
to meet new people and make friends that will last a lifetime. Remember
that everyone is in the same situation you are. Be
tolerant of other people and their living habits. Make
an effort to meet lots of new people and get involved in campus
activities and the student
clubs.
Garrett Hall rooms offer a mini fridge and microwave. Laker
Hall apartments come equipped with a full kitchen. Rooms
in both halls have extra-long twin beds.
