
Garrett College Testing Center
The Testing Center at Garrett College provides
proctored exams for classroom and online courses.
All tests must be scheduled at least 48
hours prior to
exam time by calling the testing center during regular business
hours. When scheduling your appointment time, remember to
allow enough time to complete your test by closing time.
You will need your instructor's name, course name, and section
number when scheduling your appointment.

What you will need to take
your test.
You
will need to have your Garrett College Student ID or Drivers
License as proof of identification.
A
pencil and all other materials necessary for taking your
test (as authorized by your instructor).
Enough
time to complete your test. You will not be allowed to
continue testing after the testing center closes. When
the testing center closes, all tests will be collected.
Your test will be returned back to your instructor. Please
contact your instructor for your grade. All rules of Academic
Honesty apply.
Calculator, PDA and cell
phone use
You may use a calculator or other mechanical or electronic
device ONLY if authorized by your instructor.
A PDA or cell phone CANNOT be used as a
calculator unless the test is designated as open-book by
your instructor since these devices can store many kinds
of data. If you need a calculator, please bring a calculator
to use.
Cell Phone Policy
You must turn
off your cell phone before entering the testing center. Any
use of a cell phone or mobile devise is strictly prohibited.
If your cell phone rings inside the testing center, it will
be confiscated until you are ready to leave the testing center. |
