extra help with writing, grammar, composition?
The Writing Center
room LRC 519, is a service that offers short
one-on-one troubleshooting sessions with students regarding
their written assignments for any class.
Staff never
act as an editing or rewrite service, so there are
no guaranteed A’s; instead, we do a full read through,
point out a problem or two early in the paper and ask
the students to proof the entire document for errors
like those. Then we give some pointed suggestions for
revision and set up a follow-up appointment if needed.
We offer help in a non-threatening way, make suggestions,
and encourage students to write the best papers they
can. Visit us soon. We’re here to
help you.
