Advanced Beginner Crocheting Course Slated at Garrett College’s Southern Outreach Center

Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development is offering a course, Advanced Beginner Crocheting, at their Southern Outreach Center in Oakland. The course is scheduled to be held Wednesdays, March 21 to April 11, 6-8 p.m.

Do you know how to chain, single crochet, half-double crochet & double crochet but don’t know what to do with that knowledge? Learn to put these stitches together to make a baby hat, simple team scarf & Granny Squares.

Bring to class those crochet hooks (size G, H & I) and yarn you have laying around from those projects that remain unfinished and learn to put it all to good use. Bring worsted weight (medium 4) yarn preferably in 100% acrylic – or whatever you have and learn to create simple masterpieces. Expect a supportive, relaxed atmosphere. Instructor Katherine Lee has over 30 years of experience.

For additional information or to register, persons may contact Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development at 301-387-3069.
