"Airmen of Note" Jazz Band to perform at Garrett College on June 26th
The United States Air Force Band celebrating 70th anniversary

McHenry, MD – The internationally renowned "Airmen of Note" Jazz Band of The United States Air Force Band will perform on Wednesday, June 26th beginning at 6 p.m. at the Garrett College Community Aquatic & Recreation Complex (CARC) in McHenry.
Open to the general public, the upcoming free concert will honor local veterans, celebrate the legacy of the Air Force and history of Jazz music. The "Airmen of Note" is the oldest military jazz band, maintaining its reputation as one of the best big bands in the world since it began in 1950.
This year marks the 70th anniversary for the premier jazz band from Washington, D.C. As part of the anniversary, the "Airmen of Note" are celebrating by touring Maryland and Ohio. The band will also participate in several educational clinics and performances throughout the tour.
