Garrett College McHenry campus offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The wearing of CDC-recommended face masks or face coverings is optional, except for individuals required to wear as part of the isolation or quarantine guidelines.

Employees and students are not required to be vaccinated at this time but are strongly encouraged to do so.

Birdhouse Clay Project to be offered through Garrett College

Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development is offering a course, Birdhouse Clay Project, on Wednesday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

This ceramic project workshop will focus on the construction and decoration of a clay birdhouse. In this two-hour course, students will learn to use clay slabs for a cylinder form and cone shaped roof, along with exploring decorative techniques. All materials included. The course with be held at Deep Creek Pottery with local artist, Lorie Skidmore providing instruction.
