Continuing Education makes donation to GC’s Students in Need Group (SING)

In the spirit of giving this holiday season, Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development staff came together to support the college’s Students in Need Group. A variety of perishable food items were donated to aid in supplying the on-campus food pantry, organized by SING.

The Garrett College Students in Need Group (SING) is a volunteer group of Garrett College faculty, staff, and members of the community. SING is committed to student success by helping Garrett College students identify and connect with available resources both within the college and the local community.

Throughout the year, SING sponsors and organizes a variety of programs and activities open to all students, both on-campus and commuter students. Such activities include: peanut butter and jelly sandwich days, school supply giveaways, winter clothing drives, and more.
