Complete the 2019-20 FAFSA at Garrett College

GC Financial Aid Staff to provide one-on-one assistance

Financial Aid Night

Planning is underway for the annual Financial Aid FAFSA Completion to be held at Garrett College on Sunday, January 27th, from 2-4 p.m. in Room 309 (300 building). This effort is designed to assist students and parents in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The event is free and open to all students and their families regardless of what college they wish to attend.

The FAFSA is the basic tool used to qualify students for Federal and State scholarships as well as by most private colleges, universities, and other technical training programs. The state of Maryland requires a processing date of March 1st for the FAFSA.

Those in attendance will receive personal assistance from financial aid representatives from Garrett College, who can help fill out the FAFSA accurately and alleviate any confusion with filling out the forms.

More information on the event, including a list of forms and financial records one should bring to the event, is available by contacting the Garrett College Financial Aid Office at 301-387-3080.
