Essential Oils: Dangers and Precautions to be offered at GC

Garrett College Continuing Education and Workforce Development will be offering a course, Essential Oils: dangers and Precautions, at the main campus in McHenry. The course will be held on March 29, from 6 p.m. until 7:30 pm.

Would you like to learn about essential oil safety for aromatic use, topical use dangers, dilution precautions, internal and oral use warnings? What about ideal and maximum guidelines for use, photosensitivity, pregnancy, pets, and much more? This class will cover safe usage, storage and much more.

The instructor for this course is Kearstin Hinebaugh. In her quest to reduce the toxic load for her and her family, she began researching various natural solutions. That research quickly led her to essential oils. Since uncovering their diverse applications and uses, Hinebaugh has become an essential oil enthusiast, learning everything she can about these gifts of the earth. These days she’s, admittedly, a bit obsessed with transforming her routines and making over her medicine, beauty and cleaning cabinets with oil-based products and wants to assist others in doing the same.
