Garrett College McHenry campus offices will be open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Offices will be closed for service from 12- 1 p.m. for lunch. Visitors are strongly encouraged to schedule appointments (either virtual or in-person). When on campus, all visitors must follow the College’s health-and-safety measures. Please note the outreach centers (NOC, SOC, CTTC) will have variable hours - please call ahead prior to visiting these locations.

Friendsville Elementary students complete I Can Swim! program at GC

Ms. Stein's kindergarten class from Friendsville Elementary School recently attended program classes for I Can Swim! at the Garrett College Community Aquatic and Recreation Complex (CARC).

Friendsville Elementary School

The I Can Swim! program is a collaborative partnership among Garrett College, the Garrett College Community Aquatic & Recreation Complex, the Garrett County Board of Education, the Board of County Commissioners, and the Garrett College Foundation.

The program, which is free for all children, costs more than $125.00 per child for the week-long water safety sessions, and has grown to include opportunities for Garrett County sixth grade students, along with the fifth grade College & Me participants.
