Garrett College Foundation notes recipients for Daly Computers, Inc. Scholarship
The Garrett College Foundation has announced this year’s recipients of the Daly Computers, Inc. Scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide tuition, textbooks, supplies and other various needs.
The Daly Computers, Inc. Scholarship is open to all full-time students, including international, who are majoring in one of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. Recipients are required to have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
Those students awarded for the fall 2017 semester are as follows:
- Jasmine Heath (Oakland, Md.) is pursuing her associate in arts degree in arts & sciences: mathematics/science.
- Dallas Brenneman (Accident, Md.), Herschel Allen IV (Friendsville, Md.), Austin Smith and Garrett Owens (both of Oakland, Md.) and Jestin Cosner (Fisher, W.Va.) are pursuing their associate of science in engineering degree in electrical engineering.
- Jack Corbin (pictured below) and Timothy Weeks (both of Oakland, Md.) and Alec Smoot (McHenry, Md.) are both pursuing their associate of applied science degree in cybersecurity.
