Winter session classes to begin January 3 at GC
registration currently underway
Registration is in progress for the upcoming winter session at Garrett College. This accelerated semester is an opportunity for current and visiting students to catch up or get ahead during their winter break. It is also a good opportunity for students concerned about their grade point average to improve their academic standing.
Classes are scheduled to begin on January 3, 2018, and will end on January 19, 2018. Courses are available online or on the McHenry campus. Introduction to computers, fundamentals of mathematics, college algebra, general psychology, first aid, and principles of sociology are just a sampling of courses being offered in January.
Current Garrett College students are encouraged to discuss financial aid for winter classes with the Office of Student Financial Aid.
Garrett College students should contact their advisor to register for classes. Local residents attending other colleges also are welcome to enroll at Garrett College. Visiting students are encouraged to consult their academic advisor or the registrar at the college they attend for approval prior to registering for winter session.
