Come along with us for a week of outdoor adventure. Join us for exciting outdoor games and learn camping and outdoor skills. Don’t stay inside, come out and have a blast!

June 19 – 23 Go for the Gold
The summer Olympics continue here at camp as we learn true Olympic while discovering the history of the world’s biggest sporting event and competing in our very own GGAC Olympic Games — from Opening Ceremony through the medal podium!

June 26 – 30 Innovation Station
Calling all inventors, innovators, and problem solvers! Work together this summer to create great structures, solve problems and make memories. Tap into your creative juices as we experiment with Scratch (a coding app), build a roller coaster, complete challenges, and more.

July 3 – 7 No Camp – Happy 4th of July!

July 10 – 14 Lights, Camera, Action!
Build your creative and production skills and get the opportunity to design, act in, direct, and edit your very own movies. There will be special effects, high tension drama, action-adventure techniques, and definitely comedy! We will premiere the movies at our very own showcase film festival on the final day.

July 17 – 21 Games Galore
Play is the word of the week! We'll play outside and inside using our bodies and our brains as we learn new games, create our own, and compete in fun and exciting ways! Featuring a new tournament each day, be prepared to be “in the game” all week!

July 24 – 28 Junior Chef
We are exploring food and fun—including daily visits from local chefs, each sharing new techniques and yummy recipes that kids can make! Experience the creativity and science it takes to be a great chef through hands on activities and yummy taste testing. Each day you’ll be able to wow your family with your new creations!

July 31 – Aug 4 No Camp – Garrett County Fair Week

Aug 7 – 11 Maker 101
Makers are engineers, designers, artists, and more! We will learn about and engage in design thinking as we prototype, test and redesign projects. Creativity and innovation are at the forefront as we navigate and celebrate the power of possibility. The 3rd Annual Power of Possibilities Maker Fest at Garrett College’s CTTC (Accident, MD) is scheduled for Saturday, Aug 12. Campers who wish to showcase their design process will have the opportunity to do so as part of this event.

Aug 14 – 18 Water, Water Everywhere
We’re learning about our role in the earth’s water ecosystem while also exploring all the fun we can have with water. Swimming, kayaking, fishing, water games, water slides and more will fill this week – all ending with a daylong carnival!
