Garrett College invites applications for a full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer. This position will be required to administer all areas required as an athletic trainer including but not limited to; injury care and prevention, first aid, injury rehabilitation, planning and record keeping for athletes. In addition, this position will be required to assist the athletic director(s) with day to day operations, game management responsibilities at assigned games, and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field. Bachelor's degree from a CAATE accredited program. One to three years of athletic training experience is preferred. First Aid/CPR/AED instructor preferred. Must be a BOC Certified - Athletic Trainer. Must be eligible for Maryland State Licensing. Pay range is $46,472 to $55,238. Outstanding benefits package is available shortly upon hire. Paid time off is offered after successful completion of the ninety-day (90-day) provisional period. Softball Coach and Athletics AssistantGarrett College is inviting applications for the full-time position of Softball Coach and Athletics Assistant. This position is responsible for all facets of the softball program including recruitment, coaching, scheduling, transportation, and fundraising. This position is responsible for all facets of eligibility. This position also assists with game management of athletic home events, camps/clinics, and fundraising efforts. The minimum education requirement for this position is a Bachelor's degree. The applicant must have one year of coaching experience at the college level. The applicant must possess strong oral and written communication skills and be able to work as a team member in the college community to include students, staff, faculty, and administration across all departments. Garrett is a small, public, two-year College nestled in the rural mountains of Western Maryland and is approximately a two-hour drive from Pittsburgh and a three-hour drive from Washington, DC and Baltimore. Garrett county is also home to WISP Resort, a full season resort with multiple ski slopes, golf courses, and outdoor activities.
