										 Garrett College invites applications for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician I. The position is for second shift working 2 PM to 10 PM, Tuesday – Saturday. This position is responsible for general care and maintenance of the campus facilities. Work is generally routine; however, special projects may be conducted under the direct supervision. As part of the Facilities Department staff, this position is also responsible, as necessary, for generalized safety of the campus and related College property. Experience Required: Minimum 2 years' experience in maintenance, construction, custodial, and/or safety related field. Pay range is $16.22 to $19.28 per hour. Outstanding benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance available shortly after hire. Paid time off is available after a 90-day provisional period. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring students meet National Association of Veterinary Technicians of America (NAVTA) requirements for veterinary assistants through comprehensive, hands-on instruction. Key responsibilities include teaching critical veterinary skills, ensuring students complete required clinical hours at various animal care facilities, and maintaining accurate student grades and evaluations throughout the program.
