Have you been thinking about continuing your education but don’t know where to start? The staff at Garrett College’s Continuing Education and Workforce Development department would like to help you explore all your options.

An industry recognized certificate or credential can significantly increase your employability in today’s job market Our courses and training programs have been expanded to provide additional opportunities for all ages, no matter what level of experience. We have partnered with local employers in identifying skills that are needed in several growth industries.

We understand many students are balancing job, family, and personal responsibilities while attending classes and most programs can be completed by attending part-time classes in the evening. The instructors are professionals in the field. Our small classes provide the opportunity for the instructors to meet the individual needs of students as they prepare for a new career or improve their skills in their current occupation.

GED®/Adult Education

Continuing Education offers adult basic education courses to prepare students to earn their high school diploma, improve reading and math skills, and develop job readiness skills, as well as prepare for the GED exam.

If you have a curious mind and love learning, join this member-driven organization! Members select a wide variety of educational, cultural, and social programs geared toward a diverse community of adults primarily 50+ years of age, but membership is open to all.
