As of June 15th, Garrett College’s physical locations will resume flexible operations, which include appointment only hours or limited course instruction. Howard P. Rawlings Campus Based Educational Assistance Grant FAFSA
Student must meet the FA award criteria in addition to completing the FAFSA after March 1st. Awarded by the colleges/institution.
Howard P. Rawlings Educational Assistance Grant FAFSA
Maryland's largest financial aid program based on financial need for both low and middle-income students.
Howard P. Rawlings Guaranteed Access Grant FAFSA
Students must have a 2.5 high school GPA, apply as a senior in high school, complete a college prep program and comply with the verification process by April 1st of each year. Designed for low-income students.

Garrett County Scholarship Program FAFSA & Online Application
Provides eligible Garrett County high school graduates a student aid package that covers the cost of tuition and combined fees at Garrett College. This includes required developmental studies and up to 64 credit hours of study in the student's chosen program. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA each semester. Pay it Forward Scholarship Program Paper Application
The Pay It Forward Textbook Scholarship embraces the spirit of philanthropy, providing current scholarship recipients with the opportunity to “pay it forward”. This award covers textbooks for one full academic year. Apply here
Laker Academic Scholarship Program FAFSA
Students with a HS GPA of 2.0 and above who do not qualify for in-county tuition or have other grants and scholarships that cover the full cost of attendance. More information here.
