Study Abroad

Make Education an Experience

Expect to get your hands (and feet, and clothes) dirty as you get up-close and personal as you enjoy each day to the fullest.

Exploring your discipline in an international setting is the best way to study its most essential lessons while stepping out of your comfort zone. By matching traditional teaching moments with the impact of experiential learning, we’ll bring your educational experience to life as you explore new cultures and allow new experiences to transform your life.

Studying abroad offers a unique opportunity for students to grow personally, professionally and academically. Earn college credits while studying abroad.

From Costa Rica to Ireland, a study abroad experience at Garrett College can take you on the journey of a lifetime – while making lasting memories and lifelong friendships. Garrett College collaborates with Education First (EF) College Study Tours. Students, along with faculty members and staff, take part in opportunities to travel and learn abroad throughout the academic year.

“Study abroad is a wonderful opportunity and students will learn a lot and have fun at the same time. A study abroad trip with your college or school is the best opportunity to travel, especially if it is your first time without your parents or you’ve never travelled at all,” states Mikali Artice, who traveled to Costa Rica. “I learned so much about the country, the people I was with, the people of Costa Rica, and that traveling is the best thing you can actually do with your life!”
