Highlighting Entrepreneurship in Western Maryland is the theme of the upcoming Power of Possibilities conference this Friday, April 27, 2018 at Garrett College. One of the highlights of the annual entrepreneurship event is the key speakers and the presentations that are delivered to those in attendance.

A native of Cumberland, Md., Melody Belotte is the Director of Marketing for HighRock Group in Hagerstown. A creative strategist, communicator, and marketing professional, she loves nothing more than seeing new ideas spark and come to life. In her current role, Belotte sets the marketing vision of all HighRock Group companies. While each company has their own unique focus, she continually seeks to develop new and unexpected ways to connect with audiences across the landscape of marketing, technology, and entertainment.

Belotte worked 10 years in the non-profit sector as director of marketing & communications for the Lifehouse Church Network. There, she discovered her talent and passion for strategy and welcomed the opportunity to join HighRock in 2014 and apply those skills to a wide-variety of clients, including UnderArmour, Maryland Symphony Orchestra, and Volvo.

With degrees in communications, music, and biblical studies, she’s enjoyed speaking and performing for audiences at the University of Maryland, Mercersburg Academy, and numerous faith-based conferences and women’s events throughout the United States.

Belotte believes creativity shouldn't stop at the office though; on the weekends - whether by foot, by motorcycle, or by kayak - one can always find her and her family of three exploring new ways to have fun without Wi-Fi.
