Fit and Feisty to be offered at the Grantsville Senior Center
Continuing Education and Workforce Development of Garrett College will be offering Fit and Feisty at the Grantsville Senior Center on Wednesdays, April 4 to 25, from 4p.m. to 4:45 pm.
Join Terry Whalen for a fun fitness class geared towards the young at heart. Have fun and feel strong. Energizing music has you working your muscles and your mind by dancing to upbeat moves. Specialty fitness exercises to strengthen and stretch the hip joint will be done after the dancing.
Whalen is a certified Zumba and LaBlast Instructor along with being a member of "KickIt" Country Dance and former member of the County Pride Dancers of Baltimore. Whalen supports and promotes dance fitness to people of all ages and fitness levels. She encourages a total quality of life – including physical well-being helping to mold healthy, productive and highly engaged people. Line Dance Fitness creates a wellness program boosting health and engagement, creating a strong culture of overall well-being and more focused energetic individuals.
