GC Foundation recognize Twin Tails Event Farm staff
The Garrett College Foundation’s 9th annual Spring Scholarship Benefit, New & Magical Experiences, was held on May 10th at Twin Tails Event Farm in Oakland. The GC Foundation extends their gratitude and sincerest appreciation to the following individuals of Twin Tails who donated their time and making this year’s fundraiser a success: Lisa Kessler Baker, Hannah DiCiccio, Greg Hineman, Karen Hineman, Jim Lascaris, Peggy Lascaris, Tina Miller, Christy Moxley, Mark Moxley, Mike Moxley, Karen Niner, Brian Presto, Misty Schoch, Rachel Warnick, Olivia Weeks, Theresa Weeks, Tim Weeks, Jen Zewatsky, and Lucas Zewatsky.
Proceeds from the event directly support scholarships for Garrett College students. Highlights of the evening included a live sushi presentation and tasting courtesy of Reece Duncan of the Slippery Mermaid Sushi Bar; address by Drew Keller, May 2019 graduate of GC’s natural resources and wildlife technology (NRWT) program; the Pay it Forward Textbook Auction, with GC’s NRWT director, Kevin Dodge as the auctioneer, and entertainment by premier illusionist, Michael Cantori.
