Garrett College McHenry campus offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The wearing of CDC-recommended face masks or face coverings is optional, except for individuals required to wear as part of the isolation or quarantine guidelines.

Employees and students are not required to be vaccinated at this time but are strongly encouraged to do so.

VA Representatives announce schedule for visits to GC Campus

Kathy Fauber, Veterans Affairs and Financial Aid Counselor, recently announced that Mr. Aaron Clark, Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefit Specialist, will be at Garrett College, on Wednesday, October 11, 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Clark will also make future routine visits to GC the second Wednesday of every month.

Additionally, Brenda Everett, Vet Center Staff Counselor will be at the McHenry campus on October 25, 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. She will also be at GC the fourth Wednesday of every month. VA representatives will meet in Room 127 in the Garrett Information Enterprise Center (GIEC) building #100 of the McHenry campus of Garrett College.

Both Clark and Everett are available to assist veterans and their families in the Garrett County community and surrounding areas with any current concerns or needs. Veterans do not need to be a student at GC to attend either of the monthly sessions listed above.

Fauber also noted that James Marchinke, Veterans Outreach Program Specialist, will be at the Oakland Armory the second and fourth Monday of each month, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
