Our Students and Alumni Pursue Incredible Journeys
All of our students have a unique story to tell. Many start out at Garrett College with plans to transfer to a four-year college or university. A large percentage of our students are the first in their family to attend college. Others seek to advance their career by learning a new skill.
These stories represent journeys of overcoming personal challenges, defining and achieving success, and discovering true passions.

Question:
Did COVID-19 impact your college decisions at all? If so, how?
Answer: Normally I prefer to be in class in person, however a lot of my required courses were not offered in-person, so I have had to take a lot of online classes, which I did not think I would be good at. I am finding I am surprisingly good, as well as discovering that there are many advantages to online courses. For example, I can learn at a good pace and have free-time without having to drive to the college to attend in person classes.
